QNV Constructions is located on the Gold Coast at 42 Siganto Drive, Helensvale QLD.

QNV Constructions' Head Office is open Monday - Friday from 8:30am to 5pm. Head Office is closed on weekends and public holidays.

QNV Constructions' Client Services Liaison Officer is your main point of contact through the entire building process including Variations, Inspection appointments and the Defect Liability Period.

As a member of HIA, QNV Constructions use HIA Contracts for all Building Contracts nationwide.

A variation is a request made by the Home Owner or Builder for the Building works to be varied. The Variation will be in writing and must be signed by both parties. A Variation may be requested by contacting QNV Constructions' Client Services Liaison Officer.

QNV Constructions will apply for the Planning and Building Approvals on behalf of the Home Owner.

QNV Constructions will insure your property against liability for physical loss and destruction or damage to the Building works during construction. Insurance will be maintained until:

(a)the date of practical completion in NSW, QLD and SA; or

(b)the date of Handover in VIC and TAS.

Progress payments are due within 7 days of the stage being completed and notice received.

Yes, you are more than welcome to visit your property with the company of QNV Constructions' Site Supervisor. This is for your safety and to answer any questions you may have whilst visiting. To arrange a visit to your property, please contact QNV Constructions' Client Services Liaison Officer.

Each contract differs slightly in the timeframe to reach Practical Completion, dependent on the description of works, from 24 weeks to 31 weeks with other factors which may affect the projected timeframe. Please contact QNV Constructions' Client Services Liaison Officer for specific information.

QNV Constructions will complete the administration process for connections to Essential Services. Water and Gas Accounts will be submitted with the Home Owner's details. Retailers will contact the home owner when required for the Gas Meter to be installed (if applicable to estate.). The Electricity Connection will be placed in QNV Constructions' name until the day of handover.

Dependent on the requirements of building in your estate, your property may be connected to a Fibre Optic Community. This is a communication service which has the ability to connect a landline phone, High Speed Broadband (internet), Free to air TV, Pay TV and many more.

QNV Constructions will wire your dwelling to be ready to connect to the Fibre Optic community. Home owners will be required to register their property and arrange an appointment for connection.

This is only applicable if not connected to a Fibre Optic Network. Your dwelling is fully wired and conduit has been installed ready for Telstra cabling to be installed. There is a new connection fee involved where the contractor will connect the house to the pit.

There are a number of inspections carried out at your property by independent certifiers. Inspections take place prior to the concrete slab being poured, at completion of the frame and truss and prior to the Final/ Occupancy Certificate being issued.

We pride ourselves on the quality of our work. In order to provide added peace of mind, we will provide our clients with an Independent Building Report upon Practical Completion. This report will also act as a base reference for future defect reports.

At the Handover appointment, a handover pack is presented which includes Occupancy Permit, Handover Acceptance, Property Checklist, Certificates of Compliance, Keys, Remotes, Warranty Information and Product Manuals. If you are unable to make the Handover appointment, the Handover Pack is handed to your property manager on your behalf.

Every home which is built by QNV Constructions will include a Defect Liability Period, Structural Warranty Period and individual Manufacturer Warranties. Each Manufacturer warranty will vary on each item. Please contact QNV Constructions' Client Services Liaison Officer for more details. The Defect Liability Period and Structural Warranty Periods vary between the States as outlined below.

Construction can commence once the essential information is provided which includes confirmation of land settlement, full land details (including easements, restrictions and covenants) and confirmation of finance approval for the construction amount.
